HOW MUCH DOES A FULLY LOADED 2023 NISSAN GT-R COST?

The Nissan GT-R is currently the automaker’s most expensive vehicle and one of the priciest sports cars in general. It showcases supercar-level performance with a twin-turbo V6, standard all-wheel drive, and several optional enhancements to make your track days even more exciting. These are only available for the Nissan GT-R Nismo, but that model comes with supercar-level pricing. Would you pay for a Nissan GT-R with all the best options?

The 2023 Nissan GT-R is already over $100,000

Nissan currently sells the GT-R for $116,040. Its twin-turbo V6 is packed with 565 horsepower and 467 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. In addition to AWD, it’s fortified with a Bilstein adaptive suspension and shocks along with a Brembo braking system.

Every 2023 Nissan GT-R is also equipped with R-Mode, which stiffens up the suspension and quickens transmission responses at the flick of a switch. You can rev the engine as much as you want without worrying about noise, thanks to the interior’s active noise cancellation. It also has a hand-crafted titanium exhaust that reportedly provides optimum engine cooling.

The Nissan GT-R seats up to four passengers, though the second row is predictably tight. The two front seats feature sports bolstering and plush leather seats, complemented by a leather-wrapped steering wheel and dashboard. Genuine carbon-fiber trim is present throughout the cabin, and the air vents are made with brushed aluminum.

This Nissan GT-R even features an 8-inch infotainment screen where you can access Apple CarPlay and Nissan’s built-in navigation system. An 11-speaker Bose stereo system is standard, which includes two subwoofers. However, you only get parking sensors and a rearview camera regarding advanced safety features. That’s the sacrifice you get for a focus on performance.

Here’s how much a fully-loaded GT-R will cost

Inside the 2023 Nissan GT-R Nismo, the twin-turbo V6 is capable of 600 hp and 481 lb-ft of torque. This trim has an enhanced carbon ceramic braking system, 20-inch forged aluminum wheels, and a NISMO suspension. The bumpers, fenders, roof, hood, and trunk lid are all made with carbon fiber to achieve the best power-to-weight ratio possible. The Nismo model is also decked out with an aerodynamic rear spoiler, side sills, fender vents, and an elongated bumper.

The interior stands out from the Premium model thanks to its Recaro sports seats with suede inserts. The gauge cluster features contrasting red-blue meters, plus you get a unique gear shifter and Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel. The 2023 GT-R Nismo carries a suggested MSRP of $217,635 without any options.

Adding the Super Silver QuadCoat paint color bumps the GT-R Nismo’s price by $3,000. You’ll spend around $1,000 if you want everything in the optional road safety kit, and premium floormats cost another $1,100. A USB charging cable kit is relatively affordable at $78, and you can get spinning wheel lock collars for $150. With these upgrades, a 2023 Nissan GT-R Nismo costs $223,116.

Nissan promises that the 2024 Nissan GT-R will debut this summer. It will be even more aerodynamic than the outgoing model because of its remodeled front fascia, canards, and front lip spoiler. The latest Nissan GT-R teaser photos also reveal a new rear spoiler and some new paint colors.

The 2024 Nissan GT-R also promises optional deep green trim for the interior and gold-painted wheels on the revived T-spec model. Official pricing hasn’t been revealed yet, but Car and Driver estimates this trim will cost at least $143,000. It has the standard engine tuning, the same carbon ceramic brakes as the Nismo model, and exclusive badges. If you simply must experience the GT-R yourself, the T-spec might be a better value over the Nismo.
